One out of every 700 children is affected with cleft lip and/or palate.

Left untreated, these individuals face life long handicaps, including obvious facial deformities, malnutrition, hearing loss, chronic dental and ear disease, severe speech and language impediments and low self-esteem.

Help Them Smile, a California non-profit corporation based in downtown Los Angeles, is dedicated to providing full­ spectrum rehabilitative care to those afflicted with cleft lip and/or palate deformities-including  corrective surgery and ancillary support services to under served communities and families.
